Our busy client operates at the forefront of waste management, proving fully-tailored waste solutions for the Selby and surrounding areas. You will be proactively operating, maintaining and overseeing a number of duties throughout the facility. We are offering an excellent long-term opportunity for candidates with the right attitude and experience. What will you be doing: Assisting with the waste management process Sorting through such materials as woods, plastics and metals on picking lines and other areas of the facility. Manual labouring duties (heaving lifting products up-to 25kg) Machine operating when required (training will be provided) Monitor quality and ensure that standards are monitored/adhered to Working within a fast-paced environment Supporting the wider team in sorting, processing and disposing incoming products General warehousing duties Ideal candidate: Experience within warehouse, production or manufacturing environments is desired Great reliability and attitude towards work Fit to work in a physically demanding environment throughout the shift Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm and occasional Saturdays (around 7am-11am) You must be happy working some Saturdays depending on the needs of the business - they will give good notice before booking you in for this Please note that as a waste management facility, the environment can be dusty and noisy, however you will be
