Based in Peterborough, this freelance opportunity involves working on Anglian Water''s AMP8 projects across the East Anglian region.

• Managing all aspects of the commercial and financial processes for water infrastructure projects
• Preparing and reviewing project budgets, cost plans, and estimates
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies
• Advising on procurement strategy and managing subcontractor agreements
• Conducting cost analysis and financial forecasting
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Producing and reviewing detailed financial reports and valuations
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering and water sectors
• Strong understanding of project management and cost control processes
• Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Experience working on water infrastructure projects, particularly in the East Anglian region
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
