The focus is on wealth preservation, compliance, privacy, and safeguarding reputation and family values. Our team is based in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with expertise across Europe, the Middle East, the US, and Asia.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to join Mishcon''s well-established team of Knowledge Lawyers, led by our Knowledge Partner, Kate Higgins. As a Knowledge Lawyer, you will:Shape and implement the practice group knowledge strategy, collaborating across departments.Coordinate, design, and deliver internal and client legal training, including online solutions.Draft, maintain, and update key precedents, know-how, and client guides, incorporating automated document assembly.Monitor legal developments and provide horizon scanning updates to lawyers and clients.Leverage knowledge and technology to develop business opportunities and improve client service efficiency.Create content for communication strategies, including client alerts and articles for publications.Support business development initiatives with the BD team and fee-earners.Manage the department''s knowledge pages on the firm''s intranet and other repositories.Work with Risk and Compliance to embed best practices and manage risk.Respond to technical law and practice queries from fee-earners.Perform other general Knowledge Lawyer duties as required.Skills and ExperienceIdeally 10+ years PQE with experience as a Knowledge Lawyer or fee-earner with strong knowledge contribution skills.Deep expertise in tax law and private client matters.Proven business development and knowledge commercialization skills.Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with self-motivation.Comfort with emerging legal technologies and new ways of working.Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.Proactive with good operational knowledge of Microsoft Office.Please note this is not an exhaustive list of duties; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.About Mishcon de Reya GroupThe Mishcon de Reya Group is an independent international professional services firm with over 1400 employees, including more than 650 lawyers.
