TIG Welder £25,000-£30,250 Per Year DOE (Apply online only) Mon to Fri Our award winning, original equipment manufacturing client require a skilled MIG Welder to join the team. Duties: Work in accordance with any Legislative or company requirements for Health Safety and Environmental. To use MIG and/or TIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, meeting defined production schedules, using the information contained within the works orders and SOP s. Maintain the equipment in a satisfactory condition. Preparation of parts for welding including using machines such a sizers and saws Work closely with the Quality department to ensure correct operation and continuous improvement of both process and product Support Works order and process tracking via shop floor data capture systems and the company wide ERP system. Operation of basic tube manipulation and fabrication equipment (once training complete) as required. Review of finished assemblies and parts to ensure accuracy reporting issues via the Quality Assurance team. Perform other duties as requested by the Shopfloor Supervisor . Work on the development of new components as required. To manufacture quality parts and assemblies from jigs and fixtures in accordance to company SOP s. Work on any new projects as and when required. Ensure parts are prepared to a satisfactory condition for fit and cleanliness.
