We are recruiting an experienced Mainframe Performance and Capacity Analyst to support proactive tuning and capacity planning across critical z/OS environments.This role sits within a Performance Competence Centre, with responsibility for system and application performance diagnostics, workload forecasting, and tooling optimisation.Key Responsibilities:Monitor, analyse, and tune Mainframe system and application performanceConduct capacity forecasting and support infrastructure provisioningLead performance data analysis and reporting using SMF, RMF, WLMDevelop and maintain custom tooling and dashboardsLiaise with technical teams to prevent capacity-related issuesCreate documentation, reports, and performance improvement plansEssential Skills:7+ years'' experience in Mainframe performance tuning and capacity planningStrong knowledge of SMF, RMF, WLM, and performance management tooling (APA, MXG, SAS)Ability to analyse batch and online application performanceComfortable working in high-availability banking environmentsDesirable Skills:Experience with ELK stack or in-house dashboard
