Our client, a leading manufacturer of window furnishings and accessories, is on the lookout for a talented Skilled labourer to join their dynamic warehouse team of 20 in Leatherhead. Salary - 30,000 - 35,000 dependent on experience. Hours - 40 hours per week 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour of breaks/lunch per day Experience: An ideal candidate would have undertaken a previous role in woodworking or metalworking and would have worked in a factory environment. Role: To work in the woodworking department preparing curtain poles and pelmets for finishing. Tasks will include cutting, routing, sanding and precise measuring. Need to be able to work with precision and attention to detail as all products are bespoke. Manage own workload from printed work lists to ensure all orders are completed on time. Preparation of brass/metal for finishing including sandblasting and preparing Work in the finishing departments as required- assisting with metal polishing, antiquing and wood staining/hand finishing Opportunity to learn skills from other departments as develop in role.
