Summary We are looking for a Director of Finance and Resources to join an SME charity in central London. The right candidate for this role is a qualified accountant with solid experience managing a finance team. You will also have had exposure to managing another function outside of finance. Our Client Mackie Myers have partnered with an SME charity based in central London. The charity provide grants to facilitate biological research, which improve the lives of women. As a flexible employer, the expectation is only to be in the office 2 days per week. The Role We are looking for a new Director of Finance and Resources to replace the outgoing FD. Your key areas of responsibility will be: Leading on year end, budgeting, forecasting and supporting the organisations 5yrs financial strategy. You will be supported by your Finance Manager. Lead on risk management for the charity and have oversight of IT and HR. Support the CEO by taking ownership over your business areas and ensuring its smooth operation. Main Duties Lead the finance function and deliver the budgets forecast and year end accounts. Present and report to the board on a quarterly basis. Manage 2 members of staff Oversight of IT, HR and Governance.
