We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in GCP or other cloud platforms, big data technologies, and ETL development. The role involves designing and building scalable data pipelines, supporting Business Intelligence initiatives, and working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Role- Senior Data Engineer Location- Cardiff, UK (hybrid) Contract- 6 months rolling Key Skills andamp; Experience: Strong experience with GCP (preferred) or other cloud platforms Hands-on experience with Python and Java Experience with Apache Beam/Dataflow Strong understanding of ETL, Data Warehousing, and SQL (RDBMS) Experience with BigQuery Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow Experience with Cloud Functions Ability to analyze production data and troubleshoot issues Experience working in Agile environments and using Jira Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable: Knowledge of Guidewire is an advantage.
