Duties as a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct routine servicing including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre replacements
• Perform diagnostics and repairs across various vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools
• Replace worn or faulty components in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken for transparency and accountability
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance options
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety within the workshop
• Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to team goals
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician, preferably in a dealership environment
• Strong mechanical understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers
• Proactive attitude towards learning and professional development
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
