After School Club Assistant – Bestwood

We’re currently seeking an After School Club Assistant who is energetic, caring and committed to creating a fun, safe environment for children at the end of the school day. This is a part-time, term-time role based in a friendly and supportive school setting in Bestwood.

In this rewarding position, you’ll help organise activities, support children’s social and emotional development, and ensure a positive, engaging atmosphere that children look forward to each day.

In this rewarding role, you will:

• Support the smooth running of the after school club, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment

• Help plan and deliver fun, engaging activities that children enjoy and look forward to

• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and social development

• Promote a caring, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported

The ideal candidate will:

• 6 months + experience working with children or young people in education. 

• Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND

• A real enthusiasm for helping children unwind, learn, and grow in a fun and supportive environment

Preferred:

• Relevant qualifications: level 2 or 3 Childcare 

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
