This role involves general electrical and mechanical servicing, repairs, installation, testing, and routine maintenance tasks on a wide range of production machinery and site facilities.Day-to-day of the role:Carry out general electrical and mechanical servicing, repairs, installation, and testing on various production machinery including plastic extrusion, printing, plating process, automated warehouse, and site facilities.Attend breakdowns promptly, taking appropriate action to return plant to production while adhering to safe working procedures and maintaining a standard of good engineering practice.Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as required, ensuring all electrical installations adhere to safe working procedures, instructions, legal, and best practice requirements.Propose alterations and improvements to all systems, plant, equipment, and tools in the interests of the company and Engineering Department.Keep clear, complete, and appropriate records of all work carried out and ensure that the Senior Team Leader, Maintenance is kept informed on all key issues.Stay updated with technical and process developments throughout the company.Follow safe sy
