We re actively recruiting for a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our clients continued growth and technical excellence. Based in Burntwood, our client is a well established manufacturer providing quality products throughout the UK. The succcessful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will play an integral role within the maintenance department, having responsibility of ensuring optimised machinery output and product quality. Previous experience working with industrial/engineering machinery is essential. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and preventative maintenance as required Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting Improve existing machinery and processes to enhance efficiency and safety Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and testing Maintain all maintenance records accurately Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function For this Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role, you will have: Apprenticeship served in an engineering discipline Formal engineering qualification, ONC etc Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Working hours - 37 per wee
