Job Title: Site Manager – High-End 

Location: Hereford, HR1
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality, high-end developments in the Hereford area. This role requires a strong background in premium housebuilding, with a focus on delivering exceptional finishes, tight programme control, and uncompromising standards of quality and health & safety.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring build programmes are achieved, and maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundwork through to final handover
• Manage subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
• Drive the build programme, identifying and resolving delays proactively
• Ensure all works meet high-end residential quality standards and specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce strict health & safety compliance
• Coordinate materials, logistics, and site resources efficiently
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and client representatives
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates
• Manage snagging, inspections, and final handover processes
• Promote a positive, productive, and safe site culture

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within high-end housebuilding
• Strong understanding of traditional and modern construction methods
• Track record of delivering luxury or bespoke residential projects
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to manage multiple trades and tight programmes
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence

• Experience working on luxury housing developments or bespoke residential builds
• Familiarity with timber frame, traditional masonry, or mixed-method construction
• Experience managing sites from foundation to completion in live environments
