Exams Officer
Location: Haringey
Salary: £130 - £180 per day
Start Date: August 2025
Contract: Temporary from 18th Aug - 29th Aug 2025

GSL Education London is excited to be recruiting for an Exams Officer to work at a supportive and vibrant girls’ secondary school located in Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a school setting and thrives in a busy environment.

As an Exams Officer, you will play a key role in the running of all internal and external exams, making sure everything is carried out smoothly, securely and according to regulations. You will be joining a dedicated team and a welcoming school community where your skills and experience will be truly valued.

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Exams Officer who can start from August 2025, ensuring all systems and schedules are ready for the new academic year. • Manage the full exam cycle, including GCSEs and internal assessments.

• Organise exam timetables and allocate rooms and invigilators.

• Ensure all exam materials are kept secure and follow JCQ guidelines.

• Liaise with staff, students, and exam boards as needed.

• Provide support and guidance to students during exams.

• Handle results days and post-results services efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of entries, results, and policies.

• Previous experience as an Exams Officer in a school setting is highly desirable.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Good knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam procedures.

• Strong IT and admin skills, particularly with Excel and school systems.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

• A team player with strong communication skills.
