Nursery Room leader Berkshire, Reading, ENG To lead and manage a Montessori classroom, ensuring the highest standards of education and care are provided in line with the Montessori philosophy, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and all relevant statutory requirements. To act as a role model and mentor to staff, fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child can reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Management Lead the day-to-day operation of the Montessori room, ensuring smooth running and consistency of practice. Support, supervise, and mentor practitioners and assistants in the classroom. Plan, implement, and evaluate the Montessori curriculum in line with EYFS requirements. Ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management. Teamwork and Professional Development Work collaboratively with early years practitioners and management. Support ongoing staff training and development. Attend staff meetings, training, and relevant Montessori conferences or workshops. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Montessori Diploma (AMI, MCI, or equivalent).
