Job role: Packing/Mixing Operative

Pay rate: -13.20 - -14.80/hr

Location: Ossett

Hours: 3 shift patterns:

Dayshift - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate Saturdays 6am-6pm

Nightshift - Sunday to Wednesday 6pm-6am

Rotating - Monday & Tuesday Dayshift 6am-6pm and Thursday & Friday Nightshift 6pm-6am

First Choice Recruitment are currently looking for Packing & Mixing-Operatives on behalf of our client, a long-established food production company, to work at their plant in Ossett.

Ideally candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and industry.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Picking ingredients
• Weighing ingredients
• Ensuring correct ingredients against recipes
• Mixing ingredients
• Packaging finished product
• Labelling & palletising finished product
• Working to food hygiene standards
• General duties & housekeeping as required

This role requires manual handling of heavy items up to 25KG
