Transport Planner – London | Hybrid Working
An award-winning, employee-owned engineering consultancy is looking to strengthen its growing Transport Planning team in London with the addition of a Transport Planner.
The business has over 60 years of industry presence and operates across transport planning, civil and structural engineering, infrastructure, environmental and geotechnical disciplines, delivering projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Their London office works across a broad mix of residential, mixed-use, education, healthcare, energy and masterplanning schemes, offering strong project variety and long-term progression opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with around 2–5 years’ consultancy experience looking to continue developing technically while gaining stronger project ownership, client exposure and involvement across the full planning and development lifecycle.
The Role
The successful candidate will support and lead on:
• Transport Assessments and Statements
• Travel Plans
• Delivery and Servicing Plans
• Access appraisals and transport strategies
• Site layout and development planning input
• Technical planning documentation
• Coordination with architects, planners and infrastructure teams
• Client and local authority liaison
The role offers broad exposure across development-led transport planning projects with involvement from early feasibility through to planning submission support.
Requirements
Suitable candidates are likely to have:
• 2–5 years’ UK transport planning experience
• Consultancy or development planning background
• Experience preparing TA’s, TS’s and Travel Plans
• Understanding of UK transport planning guidance and standards
• AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking exposure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

Salary
Typically ranging around £35k–£50k depending on experience level.
