As a Housing Solicitor you will manage a varied caseload including possession and eviction proceedings, tenancy agreements, housing disputes, and disrepair claims. You will provide essential legal advice, draft documents, and represent clients in negotiations and court. Familiarity with the Legal Aid CCMS Portal is preferred.Duties
Manage a diverse caseload related to possession/evictions, tenancy agreements, housing disputes, and housing disrepairProvide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of housing lawDraft and review legal documents, including contracts and agreementsRepresent clients in negotiations and court proceedings as necessaryStay updated on relevant legislation and case law to provide informed counselCollaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutionsMake legal aid applications and assess merits of a caseCandidate Requirements
Qualified solicitor with previous experience in housing lawStrong understanding of housing law, tenancy regulations, and dispute resolutionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlinesA proactive approach to problem-solving and client managementFamiliar with the Legal Aid CCMS PortalBenefits
