Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk and Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market.Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.

An exciting opportunity to work within the Restructuring Delivery Team, making a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the RDT.

Corporate insolvency experience essential, with a particular interest in training and development of junior team members. You will be expected to support and make a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of RDT.

We require an individual with very good technical, analytical and report writing abilities as well as strong interpersonal skills and a passion for student training and development.

The role involves working with colleagues across the country, both within RDT and also within the wider Restructuring Advisory team. Communication is key to ensure that progress, and expectations, are managed and delivered upon. The role is not expected to involve attending marketing events, however the right candidate can continue to do this locally and support Partners with marketing and business objectives should they wish to do so.

The nature and the structure of the team, means that the workflow is more predictable and is adaptable to a suitable work/life balance.

You’ll make an impact by:

Assisting and supporting the delivery of Administration and Liquidation processes with standard procedures and relevant compliance of RDT, Restructuring Advisory and RSM as a whole.Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely mannerDeveloping internal relationships with colleagues both within RDT as well as the wider RSM service lines to support delivery of RDT objectives.Working with others to manage both graduate and school leavers within RDT, including training, coaching, delegating tasks, and supervising staff.Delivering ‘on the job’ training for team members

Qualifications:

CPI qualification beneficial but not a prerequisite for the role

Experience/ Attributes:

3 - 4 years’ experience in Restructuring Advisory and / or Insolvency in a similar role e.g Assistant ManagerProficient user of case management system e.g IPS or similarExperience of making decisions, and communicating effectively with colleaguesStrong insolvency technical knowledge, with experience of drafting Administrator’s proposals and Liquidation director reportsGood time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple commitmentsStrong communication skillsCommitment to high quality delivery within agreed timeframes.Commitment to continued personal development and a strong desire to develop and train junior members of the team.
