This is a pivotal role within the Compliance Assurance Department, strengthening relationships with audit firms, supporting members, and ensuring robust assurance processes.The Role of Sustainability CoordinatorThe role contributes to the organisation’s
risk, compliance and assurance workflow , supporting the Assurance Manager and General Manager – Assurance and Certification (GM). Responsibilities include:Ensuring the Risk Management Procedure is effectively implemented and maintained across the organisation.Supporting the investigation, monitoring and processing of compliance matters (complaints, incidents and critical breaches).Serving as a
key point of contact
for audit firms, providing guidance, gathering insights and fostering collaboration with stakeholders.Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of complaints, incidents and data quality checks.Contributing to the organisation’s compliance with the
ISEAL Code of Practice
(Assurance part).Supporting auditor assessments and the broader compliance assurance processes as needed.Providing technical and administrative support on responsible sourcing topics and assurance documentation.Person SpecificationProven experience in
quality assurance management systems and auditing
(internal or external), with knowledge of risk and compliance matters.Experience in assurance or social standard systems preferable (e.g. SA8000, SMETA / SEDEX).Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work closely with audit firms and stakeholders.Understanding of sustainability and responsible sourcing issues (e.g. business ethics, labour standards, health and safety, human rights, environmental impact).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and mandatory database systems experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365).Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.Detail-oriented and confident working with large sets of documents and databases.Degree in a relevant field desirable; knowledge of the jewellery supply chain an advantage.Additional skills, especially Italian, are desirable.Flexible, proactive team player able to collaborate across cultures and disciplines under pressure and to deadlinesTo ApplyPlease send your CV to be considered for this Sustainability Coordinator position.Due to the volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
