Environmental Waste Assessor Falkirk -Attractive salary Our client provides a diverse range of services which includes hazardous and non-hazardous disposal, treatment solutions and restoration. An opportunity currently exists for an Environmental Waste Assessor to join their team based in the central belt of Scotland but also covering services provided in the Northeast of England. This role will involve ensuring that all incoming and outgoing waste samples are correctly classified, whilst certifying that an auditable trail of records is maintained according to site procedures. Main duties: Follow site pre-acceptance, acceptance, sampling and compatibility procedures according to WM3 to technically assess waste enquiries. Ensure sufficient information is supplied, including samples where required. Ensure compliance of all waste quotes with site permits and waste management licences Liaise closely with the Sales and Operational functions to ensure smooth and efficient operation Ensure pre-acceptance information is complete and available at time of acceptance Assist with the maintenance and control of the site management systems, to include document control, preparation of data and attending reviews where necessary Check load notes and ensure offsite wastes have been priced accordingly.
