As a Senior Software Engineer at Admiral Money, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation across our technical product teams. You’ll contribute to a wide range of development initiatives, champion engineering excellence, and help shape the future of our products through deep technical insight and collaboration.Responsibilities

Although this exciting and important role will vary day-to-day, we expect that the suitable candidate will:Write clean, idiomatic, and maintainable code that aligns to business requirementsEnsure all work is covered by suitable unit testsProactive contribution to technical excellence through peer reviews and development of best practicesEnsure a suitable level of documentation is maintainedEffective contribution to team activities including Scrum EventsCommitment to the continual improvement of the software, the team, the discipline, and the businessCollaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects and other stakeholdersSupport the growth of the discipline through coaching and mentoringWhat We''re Looking For

Significant professional experience with Golang or Java, HTML, and CSSExperience with both React and Express.js (or similar frameworks)Use of AWS (or other cloud platform providers)Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling and processesAbility to work effectively as a member of a Scrum/Agile teamKnowledge and awareness of accessibility standards and best practicesPractical understanding of the importance of Secure Software Development practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable Skills/Experience
