The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and driven Business Development Manager to join our client''s growing team.

The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 3 years'' experience in a relevant business development role.

Ideally, you will have previous experience with fire alarms and other life safety systems. However, full training will be provided for exceptional candidates who have no experience within this sector. The role may also appeal to engineers who wish to transition into a sales role.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business, acting as an account manager, and supporting senior members of the commercial team with quotations and administrative duties.

Your objective will be to secure appointments, identify opportunities, achieve targets, and build a strong sales pipeline. The role offers a structured career path with genuine opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years'' experience within business development
• Experience within fire & security
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Appropriate references demonstrating skill level
• Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
• Positive attitude towards personal development
