We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Intervention Assistant to join a specialist SEMH/PRU school in Bolton on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced education professionals who are passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.The RoleSupporting students with challenging behaviour and SEMH needsWorking closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviourDelivering targeted behaviour interventions and emotional supportBuilding strong, positive relationships with pupilsSupporting students both inside and outside the classroomHelping maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environmentEssential RequirementsPrevious experience working within SEMH schools, PRUs, or alternative provisionsMust have previous experience through Teaching Personnel or similar education staffing agenciesStrong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsConfident supporting vulnerable students with additional needsFull-time availability onlyEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)DesirableTeam Teach or similar behaviour management trainingExperience supporting students with ASD, ADHD, or trauma-related behavioursBackground in youth work, support work, or education settingsWhat We OfferCompetitive pay ratesLong-term full-time opportunity within one schoolOngoing support and professional developmentOpportunity to make a genuine difference in students'' l
