The team provides ongoing support, training and opportunities to participate in industry projects and initiatives.Responsibilities
Provide legal advice from regulatory, documentation and implementation perspectives regarding digital assets, including regulatory development, transactions and strategy.Provide legal advice to businesses engaged in structured fixed income derivatives (e.g., TRS, RPS, CDS) and repo/repo clearing.Coordinate with outside counsel and the business on template documentation and regulatory/internal requirements for fixed income derivatives and repo.Analyze legal issues and implications on products, services, and regulatory matters for Global Markets.Draft, review and/or negotiate complex legal documents, bespoke derivatives and repo agreements and legal opinions.Support company responses to government examinations, investigations, enforcement actions, private complaints and litigation.Direct the work of outside counsel and coordinate work of other legal staff; train, mentor or support peers as needed.What We Are Looking For
Licensed to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction(s).Experience or interest in digital assets.Experience advising on structured derivatives, repo transactions and related regulations.Excellent attention to detail in drafting.Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication; ability to adapt to various audiences.Strong experience at a major law firm, bank, or similar institutional setting.Self-starter, quick learner; able to work independently and proactively.Ability to handle multiple complex assignments within a large institution.Benefits
