As they continue to grow, they are looking to bring onboard a Senior Engineering Technician to play a hands-on role in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimising specialised instruments within an ISO 13485-compliant setting. From supporting RandD teams to undertaking proof of concept testing projects, this is an opportunity to contribute directly to innovation in the life sciences sector. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Engineering Technician - IVD / Medical Devices will include; Investigating and resolving issues with complex electromechanical instrumentation in a BSL-2 laboratory environment. Running tests using control software and workshop tools to support ongoing product development. Assembling and maintaining RandD devices, rigs, and fixtures using components like microfluidics, pneumatics, sensors, and temperature control systems. Providing technical input and collaborating with engineers and scientists across multi-disciplinary teams.
