2D CAD Engineer / EstimatorLocation: DudleyType: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 30,000 per annumWe are looking for a 2D CAD Engineer / Estimator to join our busy and expanding office team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for engineering design to contribute to a fast-paced, growing business.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce accurate customer quotes using Lantek software (training provided).Read, interpret, and import engineering drawings.Create profile drawings using AutoCAD 2D or similar software.Communicate effectively with customers via email and phone.Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and ensure smooth project flow.Recognize and understand various material types (e.g., S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316).About YouExperience in an engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.Previous use of Lantek software would be an advantage, but not essential.Ability to work to instruction, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude toward teamwork.Working HoursMonday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am - 4:30pm1-hour lunch break per dayTotal: 39.5 hours per week
