Position: Computer Science Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a committed and proactive TA to join a thriving secondary school in South London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting young people’s progress in a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.
This position is ideal for someone with experience working with secondary-aged pupils and a passion for raising student achievement through targeted intervention and inclusive practice.
The RoleSupport the delivery of the curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4
Lead small group interventions, particularly in literacy and numeracy
Prepare resources and activities under the direction of teaching staff
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
Provide feedback to staff on student development and achievement
Promote inclusion and independence for all learners
- Contribute to the wider school community, including lunch supervision and exam support

The successful candidate will:
Hold a degree or have equivalent experience
Have Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)
Have experience working with young people in an educational setting
Be confident, professional, and calm under pressureBe passionate about inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
