Position: Computer Science Teaching Assistant

Location: Greenwich

Salary: £22,815 per annum 

Contract: Full Time 

Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a committed and proactive TA to join a thriving secondary school in South London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting young people’s progress in a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.

This position is ideal for someone with experience working with secondary-aged pupils and a passion for raising student achievement through targeted intervention and inclusive practice.

• Support the delivery of the curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Lead small group interventions, particularly in literacy and numeracy

• Prepare resources and activities under the direction of teaching staff

• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour

• Provide feedback to staff on student development and achievement

• Promote inclusion and independence for all learners

• Contribute to the wider school community, including lunch supervision and exam support

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a degree or have equivalent experience

• Have Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)

• Have experience working with young people in an educational setting
