This strategic role is integral to the advancement of safety-critical infrastructure and clean energy transition initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the ECandI design, specification, and implementation across multidisciplinary nuclear-related projectsProvide expert guidance on electrical systems, instrumentation, and control strategies throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with UK nuclear regulations, safety standards, and industry best practicesOversee development of technical documentation, design reviews, and interface coordinationEngage with project stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and supply chain partners to align project objectivesMentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and techniciansRequirementsDegree-qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering (or related discipline)Chartered Engineer status, or working towards a chartership via a recognised institutionStrong track record within the nuclear sector or similar safety-critical environments (e.g. defence, energy, infrastructure)Proven ability to lead ECandI engineering teams and deliver high-integrity systems in regulated environmentsExtensive knowledge of control philosophies, IEC standards, SIL assessmen
