About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established Social Housing Property team with hybrid working from their Exeter office. Working 36.25 hours per week permanently, you'll handle diverse property matters while enjoying flexibility to balance office collaboration with remote working. The role offers excellent professional development and exposure to high-profile cases.
Property Paralegal Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to clients within the Social Housing Property team across diverse property matters
- Handle sales, acquisitions, lease transactions, and shared ownership matters from instruction to completion
- Process Land Registry applications and respond to requisitions professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate case files and liaise with clients, solicitors, and stakeholders throughout transactions
- Conduct property searches, prepare legal documents, and assist with due diligence processes
- Ensure all matters are handled efficiently to the highest professional standards
Property Paralegal Requirements
- Substantial experience in property law including sales, acquisitions, leases, and general property transactions
- Comprehensive knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legal procedures
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport with clients and professional contacts
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently with strong problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining professional standards
- Proficiency in legal software systems and Microsoft Office applications
