Overview

Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector client to recruit an AI and Data literacy programme lead. This role is responsible for leading the delivery of the organisation\''s data and AI literacy and culture roadmap. The main goal is to build data and AI awareness, understanding, and skills across the entire organisation, from junior staff to senior leaders, covering technical and non-technical roles.Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategy to improve data and AI literacy in line with the organisation\''s goals and AI policy principles (e.g. transparency, fairness, safety).Work with internal teams, external partners, and industry to co-create learning resources and embed literacy into operations and strategy.Design tailored learning experiences (e.g. workshops, e-learning) covering ethical AI use, regulatory compliance, and role-specific needs.Define success metrics, track impact, gather feedback, and continuously improve the programme.Key Deliverables

Education: Help staff understand the value and use of data and AI in their roles.Roadmap Planning: Prioritise and plan literacy initiatives based on value and impact.Ethical Frameworks: Develop AI/data ethics guidelines for responsible use.Community Building: Grow internal communities of practice around data and AI.Essential Requirements

Strong understanding of data science, AI, and data literacy - especially how to explain them to non-experts.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytics skills for reporting and programme monitoring.Desirable
