The role will involve attending police stations and Magistrates'' Courts as part of the duty rota, advising clients at all stages of the criminal process and conducting advocacy where appropriate. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, preparing matters for court, liaising with counsel where necessary and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Legal Aid Agency requirements.
