We are seeking a passionate and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a well-regarded school in the Slough area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both teaching and learning, helping to create a positive and enriching educational experience for all students.
About the Role:
- Work in partnership with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing targeted support to individual pupils and small groups
- Contribute to the creation and adaptation of learning materials to meet the varied needs of students, in line with the schoolandrsquo;s curriculum objectives
- Support the assessment of student progress by providing meaningful feedback to both learners and teaching staff, and assist in implementing strategies for improvement
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere by consistently applying the schoolandrsquo;s behaviour management policies
- Provide personalised support for pupils with special educational needs or additional learning requirements, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Engage in continuous professional development to remain informed about current educational practices and contribute to a culture of ongoing learning within the school
The ideal candidate will:
- HLTA qualification (or an equivalent certification) is essential
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable school-based position
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organisational capabilities with a sharp eye for detail
- A dedicated commitment to safeguarding and promoting children''s welfare
