About the Role Talent Guardian is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the wine industry for a driven and commercially focused Sales Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new business hunter to join a growing business and play a key role in expanding its customer base across the UK. This role is primarily focused on acquiring new customers, so we re looking for someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships. Candidate Profile We are seeking an experienced new business sales professional with a strong understanding of the UK wine trade and the ability to develop new customer relationships. Candidates with wine industry experience are strongly preferred. However, strong applicants from the wider drinks sector will also be considered if they can demonstrate relevant networks and a proven track record in new business development. The successful candidate will ideally bring an existing network of contacts and experience in opening new accounts and expanding distribution within hospitality or specialist retail sectors. Ideal Background Experience in wine sales or wine distribution preferred Experience selling into retailers, restaurants, bars, hotels, farm shops, food or drink wholesalers, and specialist outlets Exposure to small/medium-sized on-trade or off-trade groups Experience conducting tastings, portfolio presentations, or product introductions Proven ability to generate and convert ne
