The Role: They are now in a position to recruit an experienced Estimator to their small work winning team to replace one of their Estimators who is taking on a new role. Working closely with the MD, Construction Director, the work winning team, commercial and technical teams and other stakeholders you will be responsible for providing accurate estimates of project cost and will help to manage the submission of tenders to their clients. You''ll be tasked with building up tender prices from first principles based on the scope of works, plans, specification and programme. You ll assess risk, look at value engineering opportunities, dealing with clients/their representatives, sending out and vetting subcontractor enquiries and following up on tenders gaining appropriate feedback.
