Direct message the job poster from Procurement PeopleProcurement people are currently working with a leading utilities business who are looking for an IT Procurement Manager.The role will support the end-to-end delivery of procurement activity across a range of goods and services specific to the IT Category. Working closely with the Category Manager, they will help to shape and implement category strategies, run compliant tendering processes and manage supplier negotiations to ensure value for money.This is a varied and collaborative role that will see them working closely with teams across the business to understand their needs, influence specifications and ensure strong commercial outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Acting as a point of contact for procurement guidance and best practiceDelivering compliant procurement activities, including sourcing, tendering, renewals and negotiationsSupporting the development of category strategies across key spend areasInfluencing stakeholders across the business to deliver best-value outcomesHelping to ensure that all procurement activity meets internal controls and legal requirementsCandidates should have:Experience in managing tenders and procurement activity in a regulated or complex organisationA strong grasp of procurement regulations and complianceConfidence in engaging and influencing internal stakeholdersIdeally CIPS qualified or working towards itA full UK driving licenceThe role can be based in one of multiple locations across the North West.
