Manpower Recruitment are currently recruiting for Part-Time Permanent Scouts (Housekeepers) to join a prestigious college environment, delivering high standards of cleanliness and service.

Shifts available:

• 30 hours per week: 6:00am - 12:00 midday
• 
  25 hours per week: 7:00am - 12:00 midday
• 
  Working any 5 days out of 7, including some weekends

Pay:

£13.16 per hour

Key Requirements:

• Conversational spoken English
• Minimum 6 months'' cleaning experience (ideally in hotels, colleges, or student accommodation)
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying

The Role:

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining bedrooms and communal areas to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, while ensuring any maintenance issues are reported promptly.
Key Responsibilities:

Bedrooms andamp; Rooms:

• Clean and maintain all room types including en-suite and standard rooms
• Carry out weekly deep cleans including dusting and vacuuming
• Deliver fresh linen during term time and change bedding during conferences
• Support termly deep cleaning and spring-clean programmes
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues

Communal Areas:

• Clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, corridors, and shared spaces
• Empty bins and manage waste and recycling appropriately
• Clean appliances, fixtures, and fittings to required standards
• Maintain entrances, staircases, and glass areas

General Duties:

• Report safety, welfare, or maintenance concerns promptly
• Support the wider housekeeping team as required
• Ensure high standards are consistently met across all areas
