Purchasing Manager

to join a UK and global known manufacturer in the

Birmingham Area!

Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

Day to day management of the purchasing team (Team of 3)

Implementation of a category management approach

Manage the creation of material master data in SAP for spare parts

Source non-stock engineering parts

Develop and maintain good working relationships with the key internal and external stakeholders

Manage consignment stocks ensuring all settlements are carried out on a monthly cycle

Ensure the SAP physical inventory checks are carried out daily

Qualifications

MCIPS or working towards.

Heavy manufacturing industry experience

MRP knowledge and experience

Strong purchasing experience - 3+ years working in a Purchasing Management position

Experience building relationships with stakeholders

SAP knowledge / qualification - desirable

Experience managing teams / people management experience
