As the Lead Hardware Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:Designing PCBs using FPGAs, SoCs, high-speed network interfaces, and analogue/RF signalfilteringSimulating and implementing signal, image, or data processing algorithms in VHDL for FPGAsPerforming schematic capture using OrCADManaging PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly subcontractorsSetting to work PCBs including writing test firmware and softwareDeveloping Linux device drivers for hardwareMentoring and leading others Your skillset may include:Have experience in at least one of the following areas: Complex PCB design, FPGA development in VHDL, or Software development experience in embedded C/C++Be self-motivating, capable of working independentlyHave a strong academic backgroundHave strong verbal and written presentation skills If this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!
