Sheridan Maine are proud to be partnering with an established organisation in the Portsmouth area who are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temporary basis.
 
This role is varied in content and works closely with the Head of Finance. Key responsibilities of this role will include;
 

- Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets
- Business partner with stakeholders
- Oversee the direct debit processing
- Help to drive process improvements and identify cost saving improvements
- Preparing and submitting complex VAT returns
- Supporting the business with external audit requirements and supporting statutory account preparation
- Oversee the day to day account ledgers

 
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
 

- Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Management Accounting/Finance Manager experience
- Experience of supervising a small team would be advantageous
- Advanced excel skills and ERP knowledge

The ideal candidate will have previous management accounting experience along with hands on financial accounting and audit support.
