Astute''s Power team is partnering with leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit Commissioning Operators / Commissioning Shift Team Leaders in a project in Essex starting in December 2025.Key skills Update and maintain shift logs and maintenance regimesOptimise processes in collaboration with the Commissioning TeamOversee both the client shift personnel and the work performed by suppliers during operationLiaise and coordinate with other project team members, in particular the Commissioning Manager and Commissioning Lead EngineersRecords all operational events in the shift logbook according to protocolReport any variations and issues to the Commissioning ManagerPower generation experience with minimum 2 to 5 years as a Control Room Operator (CRO), preferably in plants utilizing waste as fuel, mass burn, or fossil fuel technology, with proven knowledge of power plant equipment and systems. Supervisory experience preferred.
