This role is best suited to an LED Electrical Design Engineer looking to take ownership of lighting designs within a business that is rapidly expanding and offering strong progression and industry recognition. This position is ideal for someone who can produce compliant electrical designs, support project delivery and ensure high standards across a range of LED upgrade programmes. Our client specialises in the delivery of large-scale LED lighting upgrades, alongside wider renewable technologies including Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems. Working with leading technology and blue-chip clients, they deliver energy-efficient solutions across commercial and industrial environments. Your Role as an LED Design Engineer will include:
* Produce compliant LED lighting designs across commercial projects
* Ensuring designs comply with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and BS 5266 (Emergency Lighting)
* Produce wiring schematics, load calculations, circuit schedules
* Supporting installation sign-off and technical compliance

The successful LED Design Engineer will have:
* Proven experience producing LED electrical designs
* Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and BS 5266
* Relevant electrical qualifications
* Commutable to Reading
