Cloud Engineering Team Lead

Overview
As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and processes that enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software applications. This position will also involve collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the production environment. The position may involve being available for on-call duties as part of a scheduled roster.Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure and automation systemsOversee the design, implementation, and optimization of DevOps products and workflowsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, video engineering, and monitoring, to ensure seamless delivery of infrastructure servicesMonitor and troubleshoot infrastructure delivery issues, ensuring high availability, quality of serviceImplement and manage cost optimization strategies to ensure efficient use of resources and budget controlStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the team\''s projects as appropriateProvide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementManage team WIP limits, roadmaps, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of multiple projectsWhat you\''ll bring
Experience working on multiple projects as part of a cross-functional teamWorking with architecture teams to design scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient solutionsPassion for researching and implementing new technologiesExperience with mentoring/knowledge-sharingProven experience in coding with a programming/scripting language (e.g. Java, Golang, JavaScript, Python, Bash)Proven experience in IAC frameworks (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)Proven experience in using LINUX/UNIXProven experience in using the GitOps approach and related tools (e.g. ArgoCD, FluxCD)Proven experience in working with DB (RDBMS or NoSQL)Proven experience in a containerized environment (Kubernetes, Docker) and tools (kubectl, Helm, kustomize, docker-compose)Proven experience in networking and security standards, protocols and best practicesProven experience in logging systems (e.g. ELK stack)Proven experience in monitoring systems (e.g. Prometheus)Proven experience in tracing systems (e.g. OpenTelemetry, Jaeger)Experience in performance optimization and resource managementRelevant certifications (AWS, Google)Understanding of Agile methodologiesAbility to diagnose and resolve service-affecting issues in a Broadcast/Livestream environmentPro-active attitudeTeam overview
