An interesting role, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for credit control, spotting systems issues, assisting with systems improvement and implementation.Main duties include:Assuming company credit control duties, monitoring credit limits, reducing overall debtLiaising with clients to understand debt levels, suggesting improvements to existing systemsSending out reminders and statements, as well as working on the projects they have planned to automate this processAssisting with other elements of accounting such as purchase ledger, payroll etc as neededThe company has undertaken a number of significant changes to their accounting systems over the last year, including payroll migration, banking changes, reporting and accounts preparation. There will be a number of upcoming projects to get involved with including:Removal of expenses systems credit cards to be replaced with new softwareAutomation of sales and purchase ledger duties / credit control reminders and statementsChanges to Access database reportingMoving to 1 instance of Sage 50 to improve overall control and efficiencyThis role would suit someone who enjoys variety, change implementation and improvements, and has experience working in SME environments.
