A unique opportunity to shape the future of public health in Forth Valley. NHS Forth Valley is seeking an exceptional leader to join our Executive Team as Director of Public Health. This pivotal role offers the chance to influence all aspects of public health practice, including health improvement, health protection, healthcare public health, and health intelligence.As a member of the NHS Forth Valley Board and Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic leadership and expert advice to the Board, two Integration Joint Boards (IJBs), and Community Planning Partnerships. You will also play a key role in addressing health inequalities, prevention, and population health challenges across the region.You will:

Lead the Public Health Directorate and provide professional leadership to a multidisciplinary team.Serve as the principal source of public health advice to the Board and system partners.Drive strategic priorities in Values Based Health and Care and reducing health inequalities.Champion evidence-based decision-making and population health intelligence.Foster collaborative relationships across NHS, local government, academia, and the voluntary sector.This role offers the chance to shape the future of public health in a region known for innovation, natural beauty, and community spirit.
