In this role as an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support children with special needs on various levels of the autistic spectrum aged 16+. This role as an SEND Teaching Assistant will be for an immediate start with the role being long term if successful following a trial.Key skills the ideal candidate will have: You must be comfortable working 1:1 within an SEND role or with children in small groups Demonstrate active listening skills and strong verbal communication skill Look after children''s physical, social and emotional welfare Handle complex and sensitive issues with empathy and understanding Be aware of safeguarding procedures to keep children safe at all timesRequirements: Experience working with young people or SEND in any capacity You must also have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be w
