Executive Chef - £50,000 + Benefits - Daytime Hours + Christmas Off

We re looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead the food operation at a prestigious independent boarding school near Tetbury a high-end site with fresh, seasonal food and high standards across all service points.This is a brilliant opportunity for a head chef or exec chef with a background in independent education or volume fresh food to take full ownership of a large, well-equipped kitchen and a passionate team while enjoying a work-life balance that s hard to find in hospitality.What s on offer: £50,000 per year40 hours/week mainly Monday to Friday (some weekend events)Day shifts only: earliest start 6.30am, latest finish 7pm (occasional 10pm finish for events)Christmas offFree meals on shift, uniform provided, pension scheme, and company perks The Role: Oversee a kitchen team of 10, including sous chefs, pastry, CDPs and KPsDeliver fresh, high-quality food for up to 1000 pupils and staff at lunch, plus breakfast, supper and weekend service for boardersCater for an onsite nursery and prep schoolPlan and deliver a full hospitality offer across events and functionsFull stock control, GP management, rota planning and HandS complianceWork closely with the on-site General Manager as part of the senior leadership team What we re looking for: A strong people leader someone who can inspire and lead from the frontProven experience managing a kitchen brigade of 6+ in a volume, multi-point siteConfident with stock, GP, compliance and logisticsCalm under pressure, well organise
