Pay: andpound;165 andndash; andpound;245 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00am andndash; 4:00pm | Full-Time

Position Overview
An Ofsted-rated andldquo;Goodandrdquo; secondary school in Andover is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from October 2025. This is a full-time role running initially until December 2025, with a high likelihood of being extended through to July 2026. For the right candidate, there is also potential for a permanent position.
The school supports approximately 1,400 students aged 11andndash;16 and continues to grow, making this an excellent opportunity to join at an exciting stage in its development. Youandrsquo;ll play a key role in inspiring curiosity and achievement in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a collaborative and supportive department.
What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, adapting lessons for mixed-ability classes.
- Planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that spark interest and foster achievement.
- Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Promoting a positive classroom culture built on curiosity, respect, and ambition.
- Collaborating with colleagues in the Science department and contributing to wider school initiatives.

- A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or working towards QTS).
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
