This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of innovative electrical and mechanical products that support cutting-edge aerospace applications.Main scope of the Supplier Quality Engineer role:To be responsible for maintaining, controlling, and ensuring the quality performance of all suppliersTo ensure that all supplier nonconformities are examined and, if necessary, escalatedTo maintain and complete a supplier audit schedule in accordance with AS9100 and customer requirementsTo drive towards enhanced supplier quality performance by developing measurements for important processes and agreed targetsTo provide feedback on supplier performance through regular internal KPI evaluationsDuties as a Supplier Quality Engineer will include but are not restricted to:Providing Quality interpretation of requirements to suppliers and relevant departmentsManaging and supporting the supplier quality interface and ensuring that all supplier quality issues and non-conformances are managed to an agreed timescaleReporting regularly on the quality performance of the supply chain, Co-ordinating the generation and deployment of Metrics to support business requirementsFirst Article Inspection (FAI) support to any modifications or supplier transfer activities if requiredEngaging with
