Job Overview:We are seeking 3 reliable and physically fit Loaders to join a busy environmental services team for a temporary assignment. The role involves working outdoors as part of a team responsible for the collection of domestic waste, litter, and dog bins using mechanical lifting equipment and manual handling.Key Responsibilities:Collect and empty domestic wheeled bins, litter bins, and dog waste bins across designated routes.Operate and assist with the use of heavy machinery to empty various bin types.Work as part of a small crew (2-3 people), supporting the driver and fellow loaders.Ensure all waste is collected safely and in line with local procedures and health and safety standards.Report any issues such as missed collections, damaged bins, or contamination.Requirements:Must be physically fit - this is a manual, outdoor role requiring frequent lifting and walking.Ability to work early morning shifts reliably and consistently.Team player with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic.A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.Benefits:Regular weekday hours with early finishes.Opportunity to contribute to vital local services.Temporary cover with potential for further work depending on performance and business needs.
